Okay, okay, I know I've been talking about this for weeks, nay, months, but the day finally arrived! Jesus Christ Superstar night! It was so amazing! Ted Neeley did a phenominal job and can still hit those high notes. I cannot count how many times I got goosebumps last night during hte performance. Everything was just so amazing! The actor playing Judas, James Delisco, was so amazing! He stayed after the show and signed autographs. We all got a picture with him. He was very nice.
But oh my God! The show was so indredible! JCS is my favorite show of all time, hands down. I think it is becuase when I think about Jesus, I want Jesus to be like the Jesus in the show- someone real with real emotions and real hopes and fears. I can't stand the Jesus movies where Jesus is alwasy kind and shows no emotionality or anything other than a bland sense of benevolence.
So, overall, I am a happy camper. :D This was the perfect way to start Spring Break.
