I love Disney. I love the way it makes people smile. I love how it seems to bring out the best in people. I love watching the little kids who see everything and it is magic. I walked around Downtown Disney tonight and it was just nice to hang out in a place that has magic. I wish that the rest of the world had magic, which brings me to my point of this blog...Why can't the Disney Way be the Real World Way?
I understand that there can't be princesses (at least in America) or fairies, but there is more to the Disney Way than that. There is a magic there- people are nice and friendly-people do the right thing-people who are good overcome people who are bad. Why can't these principles apply to the real world? Maybe they could. Maybe we can bring some of that magic to our lives. Maybe we can dream and make our dreams come true. Maybe we can smile more. Maybe we can laugh. Maybe we can sing. Maybe we can have completely choreographed spontaneous musical numbers (okay, that might be a stretch... but you get my point). Maybe we can do little things for people for no reason except to make their day a little brighter. Let's be the sunshine when it's raining.
This is an optimistic way of looking at the world, I know, but optimists live longer, so even if you think that this is naive and silly, but optimists live longer so...jokes on you.
