Third Blog Post

Greetings! This blog is coming to you from my dorm room! That's right, folks, I'm back on campus! So...first, I must mention my crab. He has been in the dorm for less than an hour and he has already fallen off the window sill. This might make me a bad crab-mommy, but I felt bad for the little guy, stuck in his crabitat and always pining for the fjords, so I let him crawl about out in the open. He then proceeded to walk right off the edge of the window sill. Next time, he's going on the floor. Luckily, he was only a little stunned and is now safe inside his crabitat and is moving about. He still hasn't eaten anything. Poor thing's going to have a heart attack if he keeps freaking out everytime something comes near him. I guess it makes sense, though. He's itty-bitty. Oh, you have probably noticed but I have decided that it is a boy.

I LEFT PARVA THE PLANT AT HOME!!! This makes me sad, but I know my parents will take good care of her.

This morning, mom and I drove to campus. We got up at five in the morning. Considering I didn't fall asleep until after 3am, I was a little tired, but it was very worth it. I had a meeting and my first day of teaching Catechesis this morning and it was so adorable! I told you this would yield great stories! So, this morning I was in the pre-k/ kindergarten class and there were about seven kids. Another college girl poked her head in for a moment and the boy sitting next to me, Ben, leaned over and whispered "She's hot!" He's FIVE! It was adorable and a little disheartening. After the class was settled, the other substitute started going over the lesson for the day about baptism, and Ben continued to interrupt and be, well, five. At one point, the teacher asked what it mean to be baptised, and none of the littles knew, so she told them that it meant that your sins were washed away and that you were a Christian. Ben popped his hand up and asked what a Christian was, and the other sub told him that a Christian was a follower of Jesus. Ben promptly stood up and started running around the room. When asked what he was doing, he replied "I'm following!" Oh, Ben was a cutie, but definitely trouble.
Later during story time, Ben and his partner in crime, Louie, were being quite disruptive, so they were held back a few minutes from snack time/ playground time. Ben was so sweet and he apologized and gave me a hug before doing the same to the other teacher. Louie was a little more stubborn. I don't like Louie. That may be harsh, but I simply don't like him.

Well, that's about it for today...wow that's a lot considering it is only 1:00. Leave a comment, follow, whatever, and I'll probably fill you in with the rest of the day later, but right now, it's nap time.
G'night!
